Your new role:
  
We are seeking a passionate individual to join the Office of the Academic Registrar as a Policy and Compliance Officer! In this role you will be responsible for the development, implementation and review of academic and student policies, as well as provide expert advice on policy-related enquires.

In this role, you will:
  • Provide advice and guidance on student administration and compliance requirements.
  • Responsible for preparing, reviewing, and implementing student-related policies and guidelines, and ensuring clear communication and documentation of policy development and changes to stakeholders.
  • Monitor legislative changes and undertake comparative analyses to ensure policies and procedures are clear, current, and compliant with external legislation.
  • Participate in meetings, working parties and committees and prepare reports, submissions and other documents as required.
We are looking for (the ideal candidate):
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to prepare high quality correspondence and documentation using clear, concise and grammatically correct language.
  • High level interpersonal and verbal communications skills with the ability to develop, maintain and enhance professional working relationships across a wide range of areas and organisational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines and the ability to manage multiple deliverables in a dynamic environment.
As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered.
