Job Description: As a Bookkeeper & Payroll Officer at Platinum RP, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization. You will be responsible for accurately recording and validating supplier invoices, managing weekly payroll processes, generating regular reports, and reconciling financial data. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the leadership team, presenting financial insights and contributing to strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter and validate supplier invoices in Xero
- Process weekly payroll accurately and on time using Xero
- Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity
- Generate and present regular financial reports to the leadership team
- Reconcile accounts and ensure financial accuracy
- Provide oversight and leadership to team member assisting with customer accounts and payments
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure financial processes align with organizational goals
- Maintain familiarity with Xero, Hubspot, and Shopify platforms
- Occasionally visit the company's Tuggerah-based headquarters for work and team-building activities
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or payroll officer, or similar role
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software
- Familiarity with Hubspot and Shopify platforms preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Leadership and management capabilities
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Located on the NSW Central Coast or willing to travel occasionally
