Job Title: Finance Controller - Forté Healthcare

Forte Healthcare is a progressive, family-owned company specialising in the design and manufacture of healthcare mattresses. We have an enthusiastic team of 30 staff spread across sales, admin and manufacturing roles based in our facility in Armidale NSW. Forte Healthcare has experienced rapid growth due to our exceptional customer service and quality of our Australian made product. We are looking to recruit an experienced Finance Controller to join our enthusiastic team and accommodate our growth into the future.
This is a unique opportunity requiring a wide skillset covering all aspects of financial control while maintaining the benefits of working within a small, close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generating Monthly Management Reports:
- Prepare and present detailed monthly financial reports.
- Analyse financial data and compare with budget to identify trends and provide insights.
- Produce monthly balance sheet, P & L report, budgets depreciation schedules and other reports as required.
- Collaborate with management to improve financial performance and efficiency. Provide feedback on monthly performance.
- Provide cashflow forecasts as required
General Bookkeeping:
- Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Manage and process all vendor invoices and payments.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions.
- Maintain vendor relationships and resolve any discrepancies.
- Manage international payments and stock allocation
- Monitor and send out invoices to clients.
- Track and manage incoming payments.
- Reconcile accounts and follow up outstanding payments.
- Maintain good relationships whilst ensuring credit terms are strictly followed.

About You:
- Proven experience in a similar financial control role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
