Drafting Solutions specializes in drafting and coordination services for complex commercial construction projects in Australia's Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) industry, having completed several of the country's most significant projects.
About the role:
Reporting to the Director, the Finance Officer will manage all aspects of accounts receivable/payable and payroll. Your role will extend beyond finance, providing essential administrative support to various departments. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-driven, motivated individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable processes.
- Data entry, payments, and reconciliations.
- Ensuring invoices are raised accurately and paid on time.
- Reconcile subcontractors and supplier invoices.
- Reconcile corporate credit cards.
- Process Payroll
- Ensure an orderly accounting filing system is maintained.
- Ad-hoc administrative support to director, and other clerical support as and when requested.
Key Requirements:
- Passionate about finance and eager to contribute to a collaborative team.
- High attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Diploma, and or higher education in Accounting / Business Administration and or equivalent.
- Experience using XERO is essential.
- Previous experience in an accounts administration / book-keeping role is desired.
- Technology Savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
