Tasks & responsibilities
As the Client Services Coordinator, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Facilitating person-centred support and ensuring Participants supported by Nawiri care achieve their goals.
• Complete NDIS Progress Reports and other necessary documentation prior to NDIS plan reviews.
• Connecting participants with relevant resources as needed and visiting participants to check on their welfare.
• Supervise and monitor operation/information systems (including rosters) and identify organizational requirements including risk management and support planning.
• Contributing to the development of capacity building programs and resources.
• Develop and present mandatory training programs to support employees both metro and regional in consultation with Client team leaders
• Collaborating professionally with team members and other internal and external stakeholders
• Provide employee support and leadership.
• Identifying training needs to educate and develop staff to achieve quality outcomes
• Be a positive brand ambassador for Nawiri Care internally and externally
• Support Client team leaders to organize monthly Team meetings and case conferences.
Qualifications & experience
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and report writing skills.
- Tertiary Qualification in Community services, Social Work, Behavioural Science or similar (Bachelor Level or higher)
- Current or previous leadership experience in the community sector.
- Ability to be flexible and work in diverse and challenging situations
- Experience in working with people who have complex needs associated with a moderate to severe mental illness
- Current 'C Class' Driver's Licence
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or DHS Disability Clearance.
- Valid Working With Children Check
- First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003 & HLTAID001) - must maintain currency
