The Role
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager for our Asset Care division in our Riverview office.
This role is primarily accountable to lead the management reporting and accounting system function of the finance team. You will be responsible for driving process improvement and operational performance by challenging the status quo and identifying and executing on opportunities which provides greater efficiency and quality of information.
The role liaises with several key stakeholders to deliver high quality service to the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial and Management Reporting
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Provision of key analysis & insights
- Integral driving of systems integration and process improvements
- Preparation and ownership of month-end reporting
- Partnering and supporting wider business departments
- Financial forecasting and project analysis
- Lead and develop a finance team
- Deliver month end management reports
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements
- Multi-Site Responsibility
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- Minimum of 5 years of related accounting experience.
- Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Finance, Commerce, Accounting or business-related field.
- Australian professional accounting designation (CA, CPA) or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate work to successfully meet expectations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead the development of change and good project management skills.
- Proven people management skills including ability to work effectively in a team environment and an understanding of how to lead and develop employees to their full potential.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and practices.
- Construction industry experience an advantage.
- Experience with JobPac and/or Dynamics 365 an advantage.
