Are you an experienced Finance Manager looking for a dynamic opportunity in the heart of Newcastle? Our family-owned hotel is seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Finance Manager. This role offers flexibility and the chance to make a significant impact on our business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial aspects of the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Manage payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and cash flow management.
- Ensure compliance with legal, legislative, and statutory requirements of the hospitality industry.
- Liaise with external stakeholders such as accountants, auditors, and financial institutions.
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to streamline operations.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Qualification in accounting is desirable.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to review and analyze financial data accurately.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office products.
- Experience with Xero is not essential but preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
