Finance Manager

PURPOSE OF POSITION                
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the role will have responsibility to manage the accounting and finance function for the business. Providing leadership and mentorship to team members and internal stakeholders, this role will improve financial controls and discipline to provide scalable, sustainable business processes within a high growth, dynamic business environment.ROLE IN LEADING OUR PURPOSE 

The role is critical to providing scalable, sustainable IT solutions to support a fast-paced business. The role will be responsible for managing a wide range of IT Functions:

• Preparation of end-to-end monthly management reports for all related entities, including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow.
• Financial and management accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and policies.
• Business analysis, performing financial and operational analysis, identifying risks and opportunities, and providing solutions to improve business performance and efficiency.
• Job Profitability reporting.
• Cashflow management.
• Responsible for all statutory reporting and associated payments, including GST, PAYG, Superannuation, Income Tax.
• Supervise, mentor and develop a team of four.
• Manage DSO in line with management expectations.
• Ensure all supplier invoices are recorded accurately and paid in accordance with due dates.
• Manage external payroll processing.
• Provide support to the CFO on ad hoc tasks as required
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders at all levels to drive business outcomes

1. ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum five years accounting experience.
• Must be CPA or CA qualified.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics.
• Sound knowledge of Accounting Standards and best practices.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel/Power BI experience.
• Can do attitude.
• Change Agent.
• Highly organized, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Management and leadership experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
