BURGER URGE - Finance Manager

Reporting to the CFO, we are seeking a motivated Financial Accountant ready to take the step up to managing a small team and owning our transactional processes. We are a dynamic and growing business which will create opportunity for you to grow with us.
Remuneration commensurate with experience.
Key Responsabilities:
- Management of bookkeeping team
- Management of all AR, AP, Payroll and Month End processes
- Management of timely statutory lodgements
- Production of weekly KPI for store business centres
- Providing summary areas of opportunity & issues within financials
- Performing store and head office financial reporting
- Scoping & implementing system improvements for increased department efficiencies
Essential Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications essential
- Minimum 5+ years post graduate experience in a commercial accounting role essential
- Supervisory experience desirable
- Demonstrated experience working in Xero essential
- 3 years processing payroll in an award driven sector essential
- Sound working knowledge of all state and federal statutory requirements
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with inventory system desirable
- Experience with reporting/consolidation tools desirable.

- Excellent attention to detail, professional attitude, reliable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills – ability to adapt style to audience
- Self-driven and ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Strong organisational, prioritisation and time management skills.
- Able to work under pressure and attend to any ad hoc functions as may be required
- Supports team members, sharing knowledge and information
- Ability to drive efficiencies, insights and informed decision making through analysis
