Position Overview:
As the Finance Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, reporting directly to the CFO. You will manage a talented finance team of three professionals and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the finance department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, forecasts, and budgets for executive management and external stakeholders
- Oversee external audits and tax filings, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and providing necessary documentation and support
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices
- Monitor and analyse financial performance against budget, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions as necessary
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to optimise financial resources and support business operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and work closely with global head offices to support strategic initiatives and business development opportunities
- Provide financial guidance and support to department heads and senior management to facilitate decision-making and drive profitability
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA or CA certification preferred
- Proven managerial experience (5+ years) in a similar role
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams
- Advanced proficiency in financial software (SAP, Salesforce, and Microsoft Excel) experience with ERP systems is highly desirable
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
