Participation in the Employee Share Plan Flexible working arrangements and industry leading parental leave and family care policy ABOUT THE ROLE This role is a Permanent position that is DIDO daily, from our Worsley Alumina Refinery, which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (45 minutes) and other nearby scenic communities. As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the cost discipline and leadership, finance services, planning, joint venture engagement and governance activities for the mining and refinery operations.You will commit to the South32 Safety Guarantee that everyone goes home safe and well, and demonstrate South32's four values of care, trust, togetherness, and excellence, and support an inclusive culture. Key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to: Oversee operational level financial processes and provide strategic financial guidance for effective decision-making Support the Site Leadership Teams and Vice President of Operations by delivering insightful analysis and recommendations Responsible for the co-ordination and preparation of budgets and forecasts, and ad-hoc strategic analysis and plans Drive cost discipline through comprehensive cost analysis, identifying cost drivers, and continuous monitoring ABOUT YOU You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following: Several years' experience in large corporate and mining/processing environment ideally within a listed company Leadership experience of a professional finance team with a focus on continuous improvement In-depth knowledge of financial operations within the mining/processing sector, including cost analysis, capital expenditure management, and risk assessment Proven experience in developing and managing budgets and forecasts aligned with organisational objectives Qualifications for this position are: Finance degree or equivalent (minimum) CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent) South32 is committed to building and maintaining an inclusive and diverse workforce that reflects the communities in which we operate.
