AddressSignature Consulting are delighted to be exclusively engaged by a rapidly growing business and family office who specialise in commercial and residential property development across fuel, food and childcare industries.
The company is led by two directors, a Father and Son team who have built a highly successful business, acquiring and rehabilitating land and building commercial and residential property with the view of holding those assets for the long term.
Due the recent successes and rapid growth of the business the Directors are looking to hire a Finance Manager to join their “family.” This role is to take ownership of the business finance function managing the everyday financial accounting compliance of the business including BAS returns, tax returns, cashflow, payroll, liaising with the ATO, as well as financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and key stakeholder management. For the right individual there is also the opportunity to be heavily involved in the commercial decision making for the business and be part of the strategy and commercial outcomes of the deals this family office is involved with.
To be considered for this role, you will have a proven track record in managing the finance function of a small business either in the capacity of a Finance Manager or company accountant with expert knowledge in Xero. You will be commercially minded, be technically strong and have exceptional communication skills and be a team player who isn't afraid of mucking in by getting involved in all aspects of the business no matter how mundane the task may be. Ideally you will be CA or CPA qualified or have at least 8 years’ experience working as a finance person in a very similar small business or family office environment.
