What this opportunity involves:
We are currently seeking a Commercial Manager for Sydney Place at 180 George St - Circular Quay’s newest vibrant precinct! Sydney Place has been, developed and constructed by Lendlease in a joint venture with China’s Ping An Real Estate and Japan’s Mitsubishi Estate Asia and is comprised of Salesforce Tower – Sydney’s tallest commercial tower, retail laneways, a revitalised Jacksons on George and dedicated public space.
This role supports our General Manager, Finance Manager and Operations Team overseeing the front line of all communication for customer/ tenant services for occupants at Sydney Place – 180 George Street Sydney. This is a broad ranging management role with areas of responsibility including commercial property management, financial tasks & reporting, leasing, capital expenditure projects, operations, and customer service.

Working closely with the operations team to ensure customer/ tenant service expectations are being met including managing smooth transitions for incoming and outgoing commercial
Assisting the Finance Manager and General Manager with completing the property budgets, outgoings estimates, asset plans and reports
Ensuring accurate information is captured in the lease administration set up . Ongoing monthly invoicing, incentive claims, rent reviews, outgoings, cleaning charges and general lease terms
Assisting the General Manager on all lease preparation and legal agreements
Managing licences for the property
Proactive and effective management of arrears for tenants, and all licensees
Managing any tenant trading issues, making commercial recommendations to the General Manager and building owners, and engaging with leasing agents to minimise vacancy where required
Strategising and assisting with the roll out of the customer retention plan
Proactively communicating with customers/ tenants in a consistent manner utilising the various approved building media e.g., digital screens, tenant portal, email notices, tenant forums and regular meetings
Work with the Concierge/ Community Manager to engage customers and provide general assistance to building occupants and visitors as required
Before you apply it’s worth knowing what we are looking for:
A real estate licence is required (or at a minimum a NSW certificate of registration), and your number one focus is providing 6- Star customer service. You genuinely love to help others and are self-motivated and dedicated to achieving the best outcomes.
A demonstrated track record of success managing A- grade and premium offices is desirable with strong commercial property management experience, preferably in CBD office sites. You have a thorough understanding of commercial leases, deal analysis and negotiation, outgoings recovery, rent roll and expenses.
Also required will be a proven experience maintaining and managing accurate lease and tenant data, budgets and financial reports
