What does the job look like?
We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Finance Manager to join our BevChain Finance team based in our Auburn NSW office. This role is vital for ensuring the financial integrity and delivery of weekly and monthly results for BevChain, with a particular focus on leading beverage customer contracts. Responsibilities include managing financial accounting and reporting, ensuring accurate revenue and cost recognition, and overseeing timely customer billing and supplier reconciliations within your team. Additionally, you will play a key role in budget preparation and analysis. By partnering closely with various stakeholders, you will provide accurate and timely financial analysis and information.
Key Areas:
- Provide supportive leadership, guidance and training to your direct reports within a small team and identify and plan for professional development
- Prepare the weekly and monthly P&Ls and required reporting, adhering to Linfox group accounting policies. Manage the customer invoicing and supplier payments
- Regularly analyse and review financial reports to manage and track the performance of the Retail group profit centers
- Collaborate with the Site Operations, Commercial Managers and Analysts and General Managers to understand the drivers of the financial results and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Oversee all accounts, ledgers and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate regulatory requirements and audit requirements
- Prepare timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations and ensure effective controls are in place and followed to maintain financial integrity of the group and customer Balance Sheet
- Support the yearly plan and re-forecasting process for Retail P&Ls including budget build, trend analysis and population of the plan into TM1 and SAP
- Understand and assist with capital management for the customer contracts, including raising purchase orders to capital projects, identifying and monitoring capital spend, completing asset capitalisations

You can demonstrate:
- Proven leadership experience in a commercial finance environment, managing a small team
- Supply Chain/Transport & Logistics experience would be advantageous
- Experience in financial accounting, reporting and P&L budgeting
- Ability to grow and utilise business acumen to identify discrepancies in financial data and further investigate, analyse and report as needed or make business decisions
- Demonstrated experience anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders, developing strong partnerships based on collaboration
- Demonstrated experience and commitment to delivering continuous improvement for the role and business
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor degree in Accounting/Commerce and CPA/CA qualified
