AddressPosition Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations to lead a team managing the daily operations of Ambulatory Care at Sandringham, two Priority Primary Care centres at Prahran and Frankston supporting the Alfred and Frankston hospitals respectively. The successful candidate will be part of our executive team and responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, optimising operational efficiency, and driving strategic initiatives to enhance our services. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a passion for improving healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of sites managed by SACC
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of clinical and administrative staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
- Manage financial planning, and resource allocation to optimise operational performance
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and service delivery
- Collaborate with medical staff, stakeholders, and external partners to achieve organisational goals
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards
- Report to senior management on operational performance, challenges, and opportunities
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualifications in Healthcare Administration, Business Management
- 3 years industry experience in a senior role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage budgets and financial performance
- Strategic thinker with a track record of driving operational improvements
