About the Role
Robway have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and professional Finance Manager to replace a retiring employee. Your responsibilities will include providing financial leadership to the management team while overseeing the end-to-end finance operations. The role will offer diversity with the opportunity for continuous improvement, including ad-hoc project-based work alongside BAU. Commercial financial tasks such as pricing and sales forecasting, will also be a part of your role
Reporting to the managing director you will collaborate with the executive management team to deliver the company’s strategic goals.
Responsibilities and duties
- Preparation of monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets and Cash Flow Statements
- Preparation of annual budgets and monthly variance reports against budgets
- Cash flow control, including daily monitoring of bank movements, commitments, and cash forecasts.
- Accounts receivable function, invoicing customers, credit control, collections.
- Accounts payable function, including control of payments to creditors.
- Maintenance and control of the General Ledger, account reconciliations.
- Gross Margin Protection via monthly reporting and analysis.
- Product costing and pricing.
- Co-ordinate stock takes with production manager.
- BAS and IAS.
- Preparation of monthly salaries.
- Payment of Superannuation, Payroll Tax & Return to Work Premiums.
- Systems administration of company ERP system (Pronto).
- Liaison with Company Lawyer and Insurance Broker.
About you
You will have a Tertiary Education with a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. (CPA highly regarded). You will have previous experience in a similar role, ideally with some exposure to cost control, managing multiple currencies and exposure to a manufacturing environment. Advanced excel and financial reporting skills will be highly regarded as well as a high level of attention to detail and the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
