The Art Gallery Society of NSW (AGS) is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee (Note: we are not a public service organisation) that runs the official Membership Program for the Art Galleryof NSW (AGNSW). Our vision is to be the leader in art museum membership. Our purpose is to support the Art Galleryof NSW.
We are looking for a high performing individual with CA or CFA qualifications with a strong subscription / membership accounting background.
You will be responsible for overall accountability for all financial activities for AGS, including the preparation and presentation of the annual budget. Provide monthly reporting, cash flow forecasting, insights, analysis, and recommendations to the Executive Director to support AGS strategic objectives. Produce and present a comprehensive suite of timely and accurate financial reports and analyses bi-monthly to the Executive Director and the Finance Committee. Prepare annual accounts, manage the audit, and oversee annual statutory reporting to ensure all financial obligations and compliance requirements are met.
Applicants must have a degree (CA or CFA qualifications) and/or the equivalent work experience in accountancy or financial management in a subscription / membership business.
This role is equivalent to three days a week, with flexible days and times to be determined through negotiation.
