This family-owned business has been operating in every Australian city with a network of luxury boutiques, serving multiple generations of clients, adding a touch of class to their luxury collection.
With ambitious strategy in place to expand operations into to the global market, I’m recruiting an experienced, high calibre Finance Manager in a newly created role to join their office in Sydney CBD.
This role manages a qualified Financial Accountant and reports to the Head of Finance.
Role responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the Financial Accountant and finalise financial statements, statutory reporting and other month-end responsibilities.
- Ownership of annual budget, periodic forecasting and provide commercial insights through dashboard reporting.
- Monthly board and management reporting.
- Manage overseas entities including financial reporting, transfer pricing, corporate and legal requirements.
- Manage the year end external audit engagement.
- Business partner with the network of boutiques with regards to capex, WIP and other relevant analysis.
- Help to drive process and system improvements to enhance the financial reporting.
About you:
- CA or CPA qualified with hands on accounting experience within a fast-moving retail business.
- Big-4 audit background with 3 to 4 years of commercial accounting experience is desired.
- A go-getter with excellent communication skills and problem-solving ability
