About the job:

Are you a skilled accountant looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to contribute to financial management processes and support the Senior Management Team.

You'll play a crucial role in providing specialist financial advice, assisting with budget management, and contributing to long-term financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide timely and accurate financial advice to senior management
• Support branch managers throughout the budget cycle
• Assist with the preparation of monthly reviews, quarterly reviews, and annual budgets
• Contribute to the maintenance of accurate financial records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, accounting standards, and policies

Qualifications and Skills:

• Tertiary qualifications in accounting or related discipline
• Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and standards
• Strong commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
• Experience in budgetary control and financial analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially financial spreadsheets
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Desirable:

• Experience with accounting software, such as Civica Authority
• Previous involvement in special projects or long-term financial planning
