The Frontline LabourFinance Manager is a new role supporting Flight Operations, Customer Experience, Workforce Planning and Operations Delivery. This position will lead the Frontline Labour departments and be responsible for key finance support in areas including contract reviews, business cases, cost modelling, forecasting, budgeting and reporting of results. This role is expected to support and challenge senior management and provide them with the necessary information to drive improved financial performance.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis, key responsibilities of this role include:
- Provide financial support to the departments for business cases and/or contract reviews including detailed financial modelling and analysis
- Validate the outcomes from departmental financial and Organisational baselines as required in support of the Cost Efficiency Program
- Participate as a member of the Leaderships Team across responsible departments providing insight and suggestions to drive improved results
- Deliver clear and consistent reporting of financial performance including monthly results
- Measurement and tracking of Frontline Labour cost drivers across the departments
- Team leadership, performance targets and evaluations
- Talent Management, development objectives and succession planning for team members
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills, qualifications and experience:
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CA / CPA)
- Minimum seven years post graduate accounting experience
- Complex and high pressure corporate environment
- Aviation experience (preferable)
- People management of a high-performance team
- TM1 knowledge and exposure to Oracle Financials.
