The role of the Finance Manager is a leadership position, designed to support and enable the work of the Principal and School Board advancing the financial services and support available.
The role has responsibility for creating efficiencies and continuous improvement within the financial functions of the school, as well as building and maintaining strong relationships within the school community.
Commencement
Ideally, our new Finance Manager will commence on 1 july 2024, however this will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

- A Curriculum Vitae (5 page maximum) clearly stating each position you have held over the last ten years, and outlining key responsibilities and outcomes achieved while holding these roles.

a) at least two professional referees who can substantiate the work included in your CV.
b) at least one personal referee, ideally a church member who can verify your faith practice.
About You:
This role may suit someone with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field with 3-5 years full time equivalent experience in a similar fast paced environment.
Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
Experience in maintaining general ledger, budget and cashflow management, compliance reporting, and capital grants processes.
Experience performing board secretary duties.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Ability to manage tasks/projects, scheduling, reporting and delivery within agreed timeframes.
