They now have a unique opportunity for a highly experienced and capable Finance Managerto join their team.
About the Role...
As the Finance Manager you will report to the Managing Partner and be responsible for providing all financial information for the firm that is paramount to making sound business decisions and ensuring the smooth running of the business. You will provide high level of financial analysis and reporting.
Primary responsibilities include day to day operational tasks, identification of areas for investment, cost review and operational improvements, annual budget process, periodic forecasting, and regular analysis of operations performance. You will join an experienced and highly capable accounts team, with 4 other staff members.

Skills and experience we'd love...
It is envisaged you will have a minimum of 5 yearsaccounting experience in a supervisory role, preferably gained in the legal industry or in professional services. You will also have;
- high level and proven understanding of accounting practices
- strong analytical and numeracy skills
- strong computing skills including MS Office Suite of applications (particularly Excel);
- experience with Accounting & Practice Management systems (Open Practice experience ideal but not essential);
- working knowledge of trust accounting rules & regulations
- ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation;
- the ability to foster teamwork & provide leadership across all functions of the accounts department & firm-wide; and
- previous involvement in change management including review and recommendation of accounts processes.
- CPA or CA qualifications desirable, but not essential
