Your new role
In the role of Finance Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Financial Controller to ensure effective financial management of projects.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Assisting the Financial Controller with all finance-related tasks, such as job costing reporting, cash flow management, and financial analysis for development projects.
Supervising project costing and ensuring accurate invoicing and contract coding.
Managing budget processes, including annual budgets and three-year forecasts.
Handling finance loans and private lending matters, including maintaining loan schedules and liaising with relevant parties.
Monitoring and managing bank guarantees for projects, reporting transactions, and organizing new guarantees as needed.
Reviewing and overseeing the financial aspects of body corporate expenses and sinking funds.
Providing financial support for rental properties in Queensland, including budgeting and cash flow updates.
What you'll need to succeed
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar finance role.
CPA/CA qualification or a minimum Accounting Degree.
Proficiency in Cheops software (preferred but not mandatory).
Excellent communication skills and the capability to establish effective working relationships.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
High level of numeracy and literacy.
Experience in the development and construction sector is advantageous.
