As a Finance Manager, you will play a key role in providing financial guidance, developing standard operating procedures, managing stakeholders, and maintaining financial registers for complex projects in accordance with Defence policy.
To succeed in this endeavour, you will:

• Provide expert financial advice on a range of issues, including approved budgets, monthly finance reporting, and finance processes such as Additional Estimates and Budget Estimates.
• Develop and maintain financial registers to track approved funding, expenditure, and commitments for complex projects.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Our work is highly complex and confidential, so there are some things you must have to fulfil this role.
We're looking for:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a professional services firm or the Defence industry.
• Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
• Familiarity with Defence systems, policies, and procedures.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both in written and verbal form.
• You must hold a current NV1 security clearance or higher.
