As Finance Manager for Ramsay Psychology and Health Plus, you're a key driver of growth, providing crucial financial reporting, analytics, and insights. Supported by our dedicated Finance Service Centre, your role extends beyond numbers, influencing strategic decisions and optimising overall business performance.
Key Accountabilities
- Take ownership of daily financial collaboration with business line leads in Ramsay Psychology and Ramsay Health Plus.
- Spearhead the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans.
- Conduct thorough preparation, finalisation, and results analysis, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Collaborate with corporate finance services to ensure robust reporting and compliance, adopting a strong balance sheet and an efficient system of internal controls.
- Foster strategic partnerships with clinical and non-clinical departments, empowering managers with the knowledge and tools required to monitor, comprehend, and achieve KPIs.
To excel in this role, you should bring substantial commercial insight, proficiency in financial management, outstanding leadership capabilities, and the capacity to cultivate robust, positive, and professional relationships with both remote and on-site teams, with a strong customer focus.
Your Skills and Experience
- Preferred qualifications in accountancy/finance management, such as CPA or CA.
- A minimum of 5 years of accountancy experience.
- Proven track record of analysing financial and operational data to derive valuable insights.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with the business to optimise performance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, with a strong focus on Excel.
- Prior experience with extensive accounting software packages and advanced financial reporting models, including expertise in budget preparation.
- Possesses a curious mindset and the capability to establish strong, effective working relationships.
- Experienced in financial management within the healthcare sector.
- Proficient in financial legislation, compliance, and financial risk management frameworks relevant to healthcare environments.
