As Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving financial excellence and contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional service to our clients. About You
We are seeking a talented Finance Manager to manage our Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Sales Administration teams. You will report to our Group Financial Controller, overseeing day-to-day financial activities, driving process improvements, and providing strategic guidance to optimise our financial performance. Additionally, you will assist the Group Financial Controller in collaborating closely with senior management to support key decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor the AP, AR, and Sales Administration teams, providing guidance and support to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
- Take a leading role in the implementation of systems designed to automate our transactional processes and improve workflow.
- Implement and maintain efficient processes and controls to streamline financial operations and enhance accuracy and compliance.
- Analyse financial data and prepare regular reports to monitor performance, identify trends, and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise sales processes, resolve billing discrepancies, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives.
- Conduct periodic audits and assessments to ensure adherence to accounting standards, policies, and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to recommend improvements and drive continuous innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA or CA certification preferred.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in finance or accounting management roles, with a focus on leading transactional finance teams
- IT savvy with experience in implementing AP/AR automation systems
- Previous experience of collaborating with the sales team to help sales administration tasks is desirable but not essential.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights effectively.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
