Calroc is currently seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Finance Manager to join the team on a full-time basis. This is an important role assisting the business in supporting the Director by leading the finance function as the business continues to grow.

The Role
- Oversee all aspects of the Finance department, including the leadership of a small team
- Develop, implement and monitor appropriate financial systems, procedures and internal controls to support the efficient operation of the finance function
- Project costing and analysis. Monitor performance in close collaboration with Project Managers / Directors
- Develop an ongoing cash flow forecast out to 90 – 120 days including capital requirements, funding needs and capital expenditure.
- Work closely with the executive team to develop and implement the company’s strategic plan. Utilise your commercial intellect to drive results
- Provide analysis / performance insights that aid growth, ensure appropriate resource allocation and / or deliver cost efficiencies
- Develop ongoing budgets and ensure timely monthly reporting
- Provide regular commentary around variance to budgets and forecasts
- Hold accountability for the improvement of management reporting and processes.
- Maintain responsibility for meeting all statutory obligations
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will have at least 5 years' experience in a similar role and hold the below;
- Professional accountancy qualification (CAP, CMA or equivalent)
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
- In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, risk management, and legal compliance.
- Previous experience leading a team.
- Demonstrated ability in change management and business strategy.
- Previous experience in a ‘project based’ environment is essential (construction, engineering, mining, etc).as a Finance Manager or similar.
- Strong understanding and practical application of finance management systems.
- Ability to deliver exceptionally strong output even under time-pressure; and attention to details.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively with diverse teams and management.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional proficiency in MS Office applications.
