The Opportunity:
- Oversee daily, monthly, and annual accounting processes.
- Manage cash flow effectively.
- Process and oversee ongoing financial transactions and provide valuable insights to the General Manager.
- Review and maintain accounting procedures to ensure compliance with best practices and legal requirements.
- Manage and oversee all AP and AR functions.
- Verify general ledger postings for vendor invoices.
- Monitor customer aged debtors and factory aged debtors, including factory claims.
- Collaborate with the Service Manager and Group Service Manager to address overdue warranty claims.
- Costing of New and Used Wholegoods Sales int the general ledger including finalisation of sales with suppliers.
- Timely preparation of month end trial balance accounting for sale transactions, expenses, standard journals, accrual and prepayments.
- Responsible for training of administration team
- Timely preparation and submission of all statutory requirements including BAS, Payroll Tax Returns, and Superannuation Payments. Including the preparation of information for external accountants for the annual FBT return
About You:
- Hold an accounting qualification, degree or CPA preferred
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.
- Exhibit excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- Understand the significance of providing top-notch customer service.
- Have strong phone communication skills.
- Hold previous experience in administration roles.
