An Opportunity

Luther College seeks to appoint a talented Finance Officer to provide support to the Assistant Business Manager by contributing to the business operations and financial management of the college. This is an ongoing, full-time position (part time, term time is negotiable), commencing on Monday 29 April 2024.

The Finance Officer will play a crucial role in assisting the Assistant Business Manager with high quality administrative support in all finance related matters as well as maintaining an accurate and comprehensive database of college creditors and payments, processing a wide range of financial transactions as well as end of month processes.

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.15am – 4.30pm and Friday 8.15am – 4.00pm.

You are a motivated, energetic and organised professional with strong financial experience who is seeking the next step in their developing career. A strong communicator with great interpersonal skills, you are aware of your impact on all community members and intuitively adjust your style to meet cultural and stakeholder needs. You will have a keen eye for the finer details, and a desire to learn through hands on experience in the role.
