Planned Resources are seeking a Risk And Assurance Officer to join a northern council on a short-term contract with potential to extend!
In the capacity of the Risk and Assurance Officer, you will offer specialised assistance to the Risk and Assurance Coordinator in formulating, executing, and overseeing the Council's enterprise risk framework. Your responsibilities will involve monitoring and assessing the Council's exposure to risk while aiding in coordinating associated functions.
A pivotal aspect of your role will entail supporting the Council's insurance functions. You will play a crucial role in managing all insurance claims, ensuring Council achieves the best possible outcomes. Additionally, you will provide expert guidance to internal stakeholders and contribute to the timely and accurate compilation of data for the insurance renewal process. Moreover, you will deliver exceptional customer service to the community regarding any claims, actively collaborating with them to address inquiries and resolve issues proactively.
To be successful for this role, you must display the below:
- Relevant experience in risk management, insurance, administration, or a related fields.
- Ability to discuss and resolve problems and gain cooperation and assistance from others.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills and the ability to work with changing priorities in a changing environment within strict timeframes.
Demonstrated ability to deal with sensitive and confidential issues.
