6-month contract with opportunity to extend.
The Shire of Dundas is seeking a person experienced in finance to join our accounts team. To be successful in this role, you will be highly professional, well-organised, and have great attention to detail.
What are we looking for?
Professional experience in managing creditors and debtors, assisting with corporate bank accounts, and cash handling procedures.
An understanding of compliance.
A person who can assist the Shire’s auditors to prepare financial reports.
Experience within a financial environment and with computerised accounts systems.
The ability to assist in coordinating finances and budget preparation.
Experience in receipting, bank reconciliation, manual journal entries, grant acquittals, BAS, corporate credit cards.
Professional presentation, strong ethical practices, and a positive attitude.
