What is to focus of this position?
The role of Finance Officer is to contribute to the smooth financial administration of the College by ensuring that your allocated accountabilities are taken care of in a timely and efficient manner.
In this role you will function as a member of the Finance Team. The Finance Team is a highly autonomous business unit. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be involved in many different aspects of the College’s financial administration. While you will have your allocated accountabilities, you will also be required to be flexible in your approach to your role, occasionally taking on tasks outside your field of accountability, if needed.
What you’ll be doing:
- Accounts payable
- Managing commercial debtors
- Managing College credit cards
- Billing and receipting
- Assisting with the drafting of the College budget, including research, modelling and projections
- Debtor management
- Payroll liaison

The essentials you will need:
- Ideally two to four years of relevant financial / accounting work experience
- A current paid Working With Children Check
- Excellent working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products and a willingness to embrace new technologies

Monday, 27 May 2024 preferred, however, a start date can be negotiated
Closing Date for Applications
Midday Monday, 20 May 2024. The successful candidate will work 42-weeks a year and is stood down for 10 weeks during non-term time.
