Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Officer / Assistant Accountant level candidate who is ready to take the next step in their career. The Role
This role will support the Capital Accountant & Finance Director with a Fixed Assets project. In anticipation of a new ERP Implementation in 2025, the organisation is undertaking a remedial project to support this. The business is located in the inner Northern Suburbs & easily accessible via Public Transport. The nature of this role requires the successful candidate to work 5 days on-site (however there is some limited flexibility over start / finish times).
Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for:
- Fixed assets
- Updating projects onto fixed assets register
- Reviewing invoices
- Liaising with various departments across the business
- Support month end
- Asset tagging
Your Profile
You will ideally have a few years experience as either a Finance Officer / Assistant Accountant. Some exposure to Fixed Assets would be advantageous, but is not mandatory - please still apply if you lack this experience as the client is happy to train.
Ideally you will have exposure to a medium or large ERP and will be comfortable using Excel.
