The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join our Finance Team in Para Hills West. The Finance Officer is to provide bookkeeping services and finance support to the Finance Team.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Process entries and maintain accounts payable/receivable subsidiary ledgers
- Raising and the collection of monthly rent and other revenue invoices f
- Perform all aspects of debt control ensuring outstanding debts are at a minimum
- Perform regular account reconciliations as required
- Bookkeeping
- Participate in BAS and end of year process as required
- Backup to the Finance and Payroll Officer including backup to fortnightly payroll
To be considered for this opportunity you will ideally have:
- Demonstrated bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Possess a sound knowledge of both computerised accounting/bookkeeping systems and procedures
- Experience in MYOB and Micropay (desirable)
- Demonstrated end-to-end payroll experience (desirable)
- Good time management, ensuring all work is carried out within required timeframes
- Valid Driver’s licence required (standard car licence)
- An understanding of the legal obligations and standards required for the day-to-day bookkeeping of a Company.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously or in a team environment
