We are looking for an experienced Finance Officer to assist an emerging Hotel Group located in North Adelaide, with various tasks including:
- Reconciliations of bank accounts and other general ledger accounts,
- Accounts Payable - ensuring bills are processed and paid on time,
- Liaising with Suppliers, Management and Staff as required,
- Backup for Payroll processing,
- Assistance with IAS preparation,
- Periodically assisting the Group Accountant with various financial and administrative tasks.
We use a number of systems to assist us to manage these tasks efficiently, including:
- Xero / Dext / Tanda
- Bepoz
- Function Tracker / Now book It / Me&U
- Microsoft Office 365
Experience with Xero and Microsoft Excel is necessary. Bookkeeping or Accounting qualifications and experience in the hotel industry would be a bonus, but not essential.
This role will work closely with the Group Accountant & Hotel Owners and there is plenty of scope to make the role your own. While this job may sound like the ‘run of the mill’ Finance Officer role, we do provide a friendly office environment, plenty of street parking, lots of coffee, the occasional hotel meal, training where required and a few giggles along the way.
The successful candidate will be a friendly, positive person, with a ‘happy to help’ attitude. We need someone who is pro-active, able to multi-task and willing to learn new systems.
