Indigo Shire Council is on the lookout for our next Finance Officer! Working from the Yackandandah office, you will bring your passion and expertise into a team that values your knowledge and experience.
As our next Financial Officer, you will be able to:
- Provide accounts payable functions within the Finance department
- Maintain records associated with Accounts Payable and general finance
- Reconcile creditor statements, collate and process purchase orders and perform fortnightly payment runs
You'll have a minimum of three years experience working within an accounts receivable/payable environment, or have other relevant finance experience. You'll also ideally have experience or an awareness of the local government sector and proficiency in the operation of accounting software.
