Status: Permanent, Part Time (0.75 FTE)
Salary range: $67,588.25 - $78,010.92 per annum (pro-rata) dependent on skills, qualifications and experience

Job Description
The City of Albany’s Finance Team is looking for a customer focused individual to take up the role of Rates Officer.
Reporting to the Rates Coordinator, this role will see you responsible for, but not limited to:
- Managing the collection of rates income, processing payments, rate journals, refunds, and maintaining accurate records of transactions;
- Maintaining the Council’s rating system and property information database;
- Providing rating and land information to external and internal customers, and
- Contributing to the financial management functions of Council.
Desired Skills and Experience
Possession of excellent interpersonal skills, strong administration experience and experience with computerised systems is essential to this role. Knowledge of rates functions and statutory requirements is highly desirable but not essential. If this sounds like you, please apply.
