The opportunityBring your workers compensation and training experience into this newly created position. Working with new starters and leaders, you will create uplift in the most crucial stages of someone’s career in workers compensation.Your new roleAs a Skills Development Lead in our Nominal Insurance Business, you will play an integral role in the performance of new claims staff. Your role will be focussed on delivering on the job training for new claims staff as they join the business. Your role will include:
  • Leading “buddy” style training focussing on achieving crucial activities of claims staff.
  • Monitor training milestones for new starters and work collaboratively with them to identify and uplift performance areas.
  • Work collaboratively with managers to report and monitor initial on the job training period for new starters.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement strategies for performance based activities.
About youWith your extensive experience in workers compensation, you are ready for the next step in your career. You have a passion for seeing your industry improve and will draw on your experience in training to create uplift. More specifically you will bring:
  • Experience in workers compensation and leading training or coaching.
  • Ability to develop and deliver training programs.
  • Have a strategic and agile approach to training based on individual personalities.
  • Ability to maintain and deliver reporting and feedback on training.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders creating two-way feedback relationship.
