Finance Officer Team Leader

• Permanent - part-time, 4 days per week (on-site)
• Salary: $56,000 + annually, based on 30 hours per week, negotiable for the right skills.

About the role
As our Finance Officer - Team Leader, you'll take charge of supervising and managing various finance functions including Queensland periodical payroll documentation, invoice processing, billing oversight, and general office administration.

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice coding and disbursement.
• Perform end-of-month analysis of workflow invoices, with comprehensive reporting and journal entries.
• Coordinate with Head Office to onboard new suppliers and clients.
• Supervise a small team of two handling accounts.
• Review, amend, and authorise timesheets.
• Prepare payroll documentation for final processing.
• Address payroll and account inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
• Support the HR Manager when needed.
• Propose innovative ideas for process enhancement.
• Monitor and address any troubleshooting needs.

About You
To thrive in the Finance Officer - Team Leader role, you need:

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially intermediate Excel.
• Excellent time management abilities, with a knack for meeting deadlines.
• Proven track record in accounts and payroll management.
• Familiarity with payroll processes, including EBA and Award interpretation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have full Australian working rights.
• Be able to pass and maintain a clear police check.
