With a progressive and rewarding company culture, this role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse group of employees across multiple locations.The OpportunityAs the Senior Payroll Officer, you will play a pivotal role in the overall management and processing of payroll, ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and efficiently while meeting the organisation’s obligations. This role will oversee payroll functions across the group, including end-of-month reporting, superannuation reconciliation, and payroll tax calculations.Additionally, you will provide support to satellite locations and manage relationships with external providers. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll expert to make a significant impact within a growing organisation.Some of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Overseeing all payroll functions across the group for compliance and reporting;
- Providing support to satellite locations for payroll processing and queries;
- Processing end-to-end payroll functions, including reconciliations and reporting;
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement and automation;
- Managing relationships with external providers such as superannuation funds and salary packaging providers.
- In-depth payroll experience with advanced understanding of payroll-related obligations;
- Thorough knowledge of Australian industrial laws, modern awards, and enterprise agreements;
- Experience with payroll systems and technology, including TechOne (desirable);
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team;
- Previous experience with system transitions or acquisitions (desirable);
- Ability to work with remote offices or multiple sites.
- Full-time position, Monday – Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm;
