This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Shared Service or Finance Operations Manager to lead the payables, credit and trust team and an inclusive, tight-knit group of individuals. This will initially be a 12-month fixed term contract covering the current incumbent whilst on maternity leave, there is a strong possibility for longer-term employment on offer.
The Challenge
Reporting directly to the CFO and working closely with the broader finance function, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Manage and oversee the daily Finance Operations of the firm and liaise with the CFO where necessary.
- Lead, support and develop the transactional accounting team
- Develop and deliver the finance KPI's
- Drive internal and external relationships
- Leading and identifying continuous process improvements across the accounts payable, credit and trust function
- Enhancing each department's month-end close processes
- Assist with the external audit process
- Provide analysis and reporting to senior management
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
- 10+ years of experience in management ideally across broad transactional or shared service roles
- CPA/CA qualified (highly regarded although not essential)
- Excellent knowledge of accounts payable, credit and trust accounts processes
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with all levels of stakeholders and customers
- Ideally you have worked in professional services before
