Savanna is currently looking for an experienced Finance / Payroll Officer to join the business. This is a newly created positions reporting to the Financial Controller, to support the payroll process and customer invoicing and accounts payable functions. Why Savanna? Competitive salary with a leading organisation An industry leader in safety with an unrivalled safety record Long term contracts with major coal seam gas producers To apply, you should have: Previous experience in a busy office environment potentially in a finance and payroll support function Advanced skills using the Microsoft Suite (e.g., Excel, Outlook, Word, etc) Experience working in an ERP environment desirable Attention to detail and time management skills Ability to work in a team Attention to detail & adherence to established procedures Ability to handle confidential information Strong administrative skill together with the ability to work to tight deadlines What you'll be doing: Accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) activities Collate, prepare and send invoices Collation & processing of Purchase Orders Ensure end-to-end payroll processing and associated activities are accurate and delivered within appropriate timeframes Assist with data input, checking, quality control and maintenance of records to ensure integrity of data Assist employees with payroll queries and follow up when required Assist with follow up of information required from managers and supervisors to ensure correct payment to employees Process Superannuation Contributions General administrative duties If you would like to be a part of Savanna's growth at this exciting time apply now!
