AddressOVERALL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
As a Finance Projects Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our finance function through a journey of transformation. Your primary objective will be to facilitate our evolution into a strategic business partner, fostering growth and innovation within the organisation.
Collaborating closely with key stakeholders such as the Finance Director, Controller and FP&A Manager, you will offer insights, implement leading practices and drive impactful changes in our finance processes and technologies.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and optimise existing processes to align with our Corporate Governance Framework, "the dnata Way."
- Enhance Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) processes and evaluate the maturity level of cost management.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in finance, supporting the integration of new technologies and conducting finance diagnostics and benchmarking.
- Lead Finance Transformation engagements, advising on process enhancements and automation solutions.
- Support growth initiatives including expansion projects and acquisitions.
- Enhance management reporting frameworks and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to facilitate decision-making.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Completion or progress towards a finance-related professional qualification (e.g., CPA).
- 1-3 years of experience in Finance roles within large corporates or consulting sectors.
- Strong communication, presentation and technical writing skills in English.
- Internal Controls Experience is required
- Proficiency in finance technology including ERP, Planning and Budgeting and Reporting/Visualisation systems.
- Integrity, strong work ethic and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude, teamwork and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Business acumen and commercial awareness.
- Consulting, Audit or Project Management experience preferred.
- Aviation experience particularly in Airport OPperations is advantageous.
