Financial/Project Accountant - Advisory services - CBDThe CompanyOur client, a global leader in advisory services renowned for its dedication to sustainability, is seeking a Financial / Project Accountant to join their team.They specialise in empowering clients across diverse industries to embed sustainability through innovative transformations.Offering a professional culture this position is well suited to an ambitious individual that is wanting to learn and progress their career. Hybrid work from home arrangements on offer (2 days WFH, 3 in the office).The RoleYour role as the Financial / Project Accountant will offer appealing breadth and variety. Core key duties will include (but not limited to):

• Project accounting - looking after the financial aspects of multiple projects including maintaining budgets, forecasts, financial reporting and compliance
• Assisting with a high-profile integration of a newly acquired business
• Month end reporting
• GST, FBT, and payroll tax returns
• Ad-hoc duties as required

Your BackgroundTo be considered for this Financial / Project Accountant role, you will have the following skills and attributes:

• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills as you will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders
• Professionally qualified (e.g. CPA, CA, ACCA), or near completion
• Good attention to detail, eagerness to learn and grow your skillset and career
• Prior exposure to projects or project accounting within consulting, engineering or professional services would be advantageous (not a pre-requisite)
• Those wishing to make a first move out of a Chartered firm are also welcome to apply
