The role:

As the Franchise Project/Development Manager within our dynamic team, you'll be instrumental in guiding the progression of our club design and project management endeavours. Reporting to the Group Property & Development Manager, you'll lead the charge in overseeing the conception and revitalisation of our club spaces using best practice processes. Your responsibilities will be diverse, encompassing design coordination, project management, and stakeholder engagement, all aimed at ensuring the seamless completion of projects and the fulfillment of franchisee objectives.

Day to day will include:

Club Design Coordination:

  • Collaborate closely with franchisees and architects to lead the design process, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Review and approve design plans, ensuring they align with brand standards and operational requirements
  • Act as a point of contact for inquiries, fostering strong relationships with internal departments and external partners

Streamlined Administration:

  • Oversee CRM updates and reporting for club data, maintaining accurate records for streamlined operations
  • Identify opportunities to enhance processes and drive efficiencies, executing improvements where appropriate
  • Maintain meticulous records and documentation, ensuring compliance and consistency across projects

Proactive Project Management:

  • Proactively manage the process for club refreshes and new builds, minimising delays and ensuring adherence to schedules. Ensuring all requirements are submitted and reviewed
  • Mitigate project risks through effective risk management strategies, ensuring successful project delivery
  • Collaborate with the Group Property and Development Manager to refine processes and reduce build costs

Dynamic Team Leadership and Stakeholder Management:

  • Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and franchisees, serving as a trusted advisor and liaison
  • Support the development of strategies and processes to enhance business performance and achieve objectives

Inspirational Leadership and Performance Management:

  • Lead by example, demonstrating motivational leadership and driving excellence within the team
  • Manage KPIs, deliverables, and projects to a high standard, aligning with business objectives and budgets
  • Share best practices and insights across the team, contributing to the continuous improvement of the business

Other

  • Role requires regular club visitation and travel including interstate and/or regional
  • Role involves ad-hoc projects
  • Manage general filing and administration tasks efficiently, keeping our data and documents well-organised
  • Maintain a high standard of confidentiality and data protection, adhering to best practices in safeguarding sensitive information

Experience & About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; additional certifications in project management or design are a plus
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably within the retail or franchise industry
  • Builder or Tradesman experience is preferable
  • Strong leadership abilities with a track record of motivating teams to achieve success
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams and Sharepoint preferable
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. Asana) and CRM software
  • Current NSW drivers license

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Interest in the health and wellness industry
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate, and ensure timely completion of project deliverables
  • Demonstrated experience project management through all phases of a project life cycle
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset, capable of driving efficiency and innovation within processes
  • Advanced negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to work under pressure and determine work priorities without compromising attention to detail
  • Absolute discretion when dealing with confidential information
  • Commitment to the process of continuous improvement
  • Personal attributes such as honesty and trustworthiness
