The Opportunity
Resolution Life Australasia is one of the largest life insurers in Australasia proudly serving over 1 million customers. We are an in-force specialist life insurer dedicated to servicing our existing customers, providing them with competitive premiums, quality investment management, excellent customer service and efficient claims management.
The F&A Accounting, Consultants & Systems Chapter supports delivery in the Finance & Actuarial Payments & Finance Operations CoE as it continues to develop, enhance, and maintain financial systems, financial process plus ensure integrity of financial data and associated controls
The key focus for the Finance System and Reconciliation Analyst will be in the reconciliation of financial data using RLA’s Oracle EPM ARCS pillar. The role will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data while contributing to the continuous improvement of our processes and systems.
Some of the things you will be accountable for include:
- Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of financial transactions between the general ledger and sub ledgers, ensuring consistency and accuracy of data.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Collaborate with various stakeholder across Resolution Life Finance and Customers teams to investigate and resolve discrepancies identified during the reconciliation process promptly and efficiently.
- Process Improvement: Continuously review existing reconciliation processes, identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement, and propose streamlined solutions to enhance accuracy and productivity.
- System Enhancements: Collaborate with the Finance System Accounting Team and IT to design, test, and implement improvements
What you bring:
- Experience in implementing and/or improving reconciliation systems and process
- Experience working with Oracle Fusion ERP and EPM highly desirable
- Previous experience in process improvement initiatives
- Experience of Jira technology
- Previous delivery of separation, merger and acquisition changes ideal but not essential
- Proven track record of successfully delivered projects in an agile environment
