What we are looking for? Someone who can assist us with the following:-
Payroll/HR:
- Oversee employee on and off-boarding.
- Assist in coordination of contracts and employee welcome packs.
- Conduct thorough police and license checks for all new employees requiring access to company vehicles, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and maintain leave requests in calendars.
- Monitor and manage staff injuries/accident register including WorkCover claims.
- Manage uniform store with in/out and replacements for staff.
- Assist in management of Apprentices including school schedules and training plans.
Fleet Management:
- Facilitate the seamless handover of fuel cards, tags, and other vehicle-related items to new employees, providing clear guidance on proper usage and procedures.
- Maintain and regularly update the company vehicle list, ensuring accuracy and completeness of vehicle information.
- Coordinate and oversee the timely servicing, insurance, and registration renewals for all company vehicles, minimizing downtime and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Conduct weekly reviews of vehicle movements, assigning and verifying destinations to optimize efficiency and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Administer and manage the handling of speeding penalties, taking appropriate actions such as driver education or disciplinary measures.
- Effectively manage fuel, tolls, tags, and any losses or damages incurred by company vehicles, implementing cost-saving measures where possible.
- Handle insurance claims promptly and efficiently, liaising with insurers and other relevant parties to facilitate timely resolution and minimize disruptions to operations.
Accounts Receivable Management:
- Monitor customer accounts for timely payments and follow up on overdue invoices.
- Coordinate with the Ops teams to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure timely collection of payments.
