Financial Accountant

Senior Financial Accountant position available with a rapidly growing ASX listed company.

Cadence Connect is seeking a Financial Accountant to join a highly successful and rapidly growing ASX listed company to join their growing Finance team.
Under the guidance of the Finance Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring precise financial reporting and adherence to accounting standards and regulations. Role:

• Contribute to crafting comprehensive management, board, and external reports.
• Collaborate on the creation of statutory financial reports, engaging with external auditors during audit processes.
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations, meticulously analyzing variances for accurate and complete financial data.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing valuable insights through detailed variance analysis.
• Handling of bank reconciliations.
• Drive process improvements to optimize the efficiency of financial reporting.
• Undertake ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by management.
• Take charge of the Accounts Payable team, implementing enhancements to existing processes.

Requirements:

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Ideally hold a CPA or CA qualification, or actively pursuing one.
• Accumulate a minimum of 3 years of financial accounting experience, preferably within a publicly listed company or a prominent accounting firm.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with diverse accounting software.
• Display excellent analytical skills, paying meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Communicate effectively, fostering collaboration within a team environment.
• Bring a proactive attitude with a commitment to ongoing improvement.
