About the Role
Moco is currently seeking a hands-on Financial Accountant to partner closely with the Finance Manager and company stakeholders. This person must be proficient in Excel, have solid experience with implementation and application of internal control whilst ensuring exceptional service delivery.
- Drive business enhancements, optimise profitability, and manage costs effectively.
- Implement internal controls, drive change & manage financial responsibilities efficiently.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Excel and adapt quickly to innovative technologies
Responsibilities
- Identifying avenues for profitability, process improvement & cost optimisation.
- Processing of financial transactions into the ERP system
- Maintenance of inventory costing
- Regular reporting to stakeholders and engagement to identify areas of opportunity
- Key contributor to monthly financial close process
- Support budget and regular forecasting processes
- Assist in accounts payable function
- Support monthly reporting cycle
Skills, Experience & Attributes
- CA or CPA qualified, with extensive GL analysis
- Skilled in handling large datasets
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to gain buy in from all stakeholders.
- Committed to driving financial enhancements and capable of meeting deadlines.
- Must have full Australian Working Rights.
