About the Position
Are you looking for an opportunity to advance your career with a stable and innovative brand? This is the role for you! Iplex Strathpine is looking for an energetic and experienced Senior Financial Accountantto join the team. You will provide vital support to the Senior Finance Manager, Finance and Accounts Payable teams, and the Commercial Manager. Key responsibilities include maintaining the integrity of the Manufacturing Accounting process, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and managing the Accounts Payable function. You'll play a pivotal role in producing timely and accurate financial and management reports, while also leading initiatives to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency in manufacturing costing.
We're seeking a self-motivated individual with a passion for finance and accounting to take on the challenges of this role. As theSenior Financial Accountant, you'll be responsible for managing national manufacturing costing, analysing key financial metrics, and providing insights to drive decision-making. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will be essential in supporting internal and external audit engagements and facilitating month-end and year-end reporting processes.
Skills, Experience & Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or CA Qualified
- Tertiary Degree in Finance or Business
- Proven Finance Accounting Experience within a Complex Business (Manufacturing or FMCG preferred)
- Demonstrated Leadership of a Small Team
- Skilled in Leveraging Technology to Improve Processes
- Knowledge of relevant Australian Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards
- Flexible in Dealing with Changing Information and Priorities
- You are excellent at building relationships with internal & external stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and experience using ERP Systems
